NeXolve is now Applied Aerospace
NeXolve, now Applied Aerospace is a nationally recognized leader in the research and development of polyimides and polyimide based thin film structures. Applied Aerospace, a proven manufacturer of solutions for commercial and military spacecraft, aircraft, and ground-based systems, announced it has completed the acquisition of NeXolve. As part of the acquisition, NeXolve polymer expertise and space proven engineering, will be joined with the large-scale composite and metallic manufacturing capabilities of Applied Aerospace. The NeXolve brand will be retained as a product line name for the company’s extensive portfolio of polyimide resin and film products. The current NeXolve team and facilities will become the Advanced Materials & Deployable Systems division and serve as the company’s executive and operational presence in Huntsville, near one of the nation’s most prestigious space technology development centers.

For over 40 years NeXolve has worked closely with NASA, DoD and the commercial sector to design and produce advanced polymer-based materials for numerous applications. NeXolve is a world-renowned supplier of very thin (down to 2 microns) reflective space-durable polyimide film used for solar-sail and drag-sail applications. NeXolve material is also routinely used in the electronics, medical, and oil & gas industry.
